Job Description

We' re on the hunt for a fun, enthusiastic and confident Account Director to help grow our Sydney office into the creative B2B powerhouse it was born to be!
The ideal candidate will be experienced, but always open to learning more, understand B2B, but have knowledge and experience in B2C and will always be willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
  • Build and lead effective client relationships and acts as day to day client partner; working with them to achieve their marketing objectives and works to nurture and grow the relationship
  • Support the set-up and growth of the Australia full-service team
  • Active retention and development of existing clients to maximise revenues
  • Lead projects from initial scoping and creative brief through to production
  • Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their requirements
  • Handling budgets, managing campaign costs, and invoice clients
  • Be a responsible and confident leader of projects and teams
  • Work both independently and as part of the wider team
  • Deliver 360 campaigns; with knowledge of digital, content and offline application and production
  • Brief media, creative, planning staff and third parties to ensure all are fully equipped with the required information and expectations are fully met
  • Ensure all campaigns are planned, briefed, and monitored to achieve creative and production excellence and digital innovation within agreed timescales
  • Provide support and guidance for more junior members of the account management team
  • Maximize margins achieved from every project, ensuring forecasts are always met in the agreed period
  • Contribute accurately to weekly forecasting process and helps to manage invoicing
  • Always provide the standard of service to the client that meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Attend weekly client meetings and actions client requests and briefs in a timely manner
  • Involvement in client planning and strategy sessions and expected to contribute materials and support with client co-ordination
  • Super-organised and detail-oriented
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise
  • Ability to think quickly, solve problems and offer solutions
  • Strong leadership, teamwork skills
  • Excellent facilitator and highly pro-active
  • Experience in BZB and BZC
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience preferably within a digital/creative agency environment
  • We' re looking for a go-getter, someone who sees an opportunity and grabs it with both hands
  • Someone who is collaborative and comfortable working in a matrix environment
  • No finger pointers please. If you stuff up, be accountable. We're all human after all
  • You'11 be a mover and shaker, someone that always wants to raise the bar
  • And most importantly, you have to be able to have a laugh!
