Due to continuous growth, this is an opportunity to join an independent social media agency as Account Director. The team consists of approximately 40 designers, creatives, strategists, community managers, influencer marketers, copywriters and plant enthusiasts, based on the city fringe in a friendly, social office.
Your new agency offers social media strategy and management, delivering nationally-recognised campaigns for A list client brands. The agency has a vision to be the biggest and best social media agency in Australia in the next few years. They're well on their way to that goal, and we need you to join their high-performing team to get there!
The role is to manage a team of content and community managers, helping them grow as individuals and achieve the goals of their clients.
In a nutshell you will be:
- Managing and developing the people in your team
- Providing guidance on complicated account management issues
- Demonstrating industry best practice in social media marketing and strategy
- A go-to person for your team on everything that might come up in a busy agency environment.
Ideally, we're seeking someone with 4-5 years in social media marketing, ideally in an agency environment, along with team leadership experience. You'll be able to lead from the front, putting together creative and strategically-sound campaigns, and you'll work with each of your team members to help them grow their skills.
