Job Description

We are on the hunt to find a Social Media Coordinator to join the Marketing Team at a fast-growing retailer and delivery business. They have cultivated a great brand story with a loyal following and as part of their growing marketing team, they've created a new opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator. They’ve only dipped their toes into our social media strategy and they believe that a talented team member can help drive the strategic direction, day-to-day management and ongoing improvements of our channels. You will have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media role, ideally within an agency or managing in-house social media within a retail environment
  • Experience in managing influencer and blogger engagement programmes
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the changing social media and online communications landscape to input into strategy and planning
  • Experience of planning and executing social media campaigns
  • The ability to drive a high level of ownership and help define a roadmap for meeting business goals by delivering improvements over time.
  • Perfect writing skills & the ability to engage great conversations on Social Media
  • An eye for still and moving imagery to use for content
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Implement “Always On” and campaign-specific social media strategy.
  • Integrate digital with marketing events, campaigns and value messages
  • Day-to-day management of social channels, in line with the content calendar, including content publishing and some community management
  • Develop hyper-targeted social media plans that align to business objectives and provide impactful returns, focusing on raising awareness; new customer acquisition / database-building; and driving sales
  • Track, evaluate and report social media channel performance and continually optimize executions to drive best results
  • Monitor and share company as well as competitor best practices, to help shape strategy
